Ice Worm Background
While we don’t know a whole lot about the Ice Worm, we can gather some information from where they might have been influenced. The “thumper” item that you use to attract them is nearly a direct reference to the sci-fi classic novel, Dune. In that book, they used the thumper to attract Sandworms to it from in the desert for them to ride. The Ice Worm in Subnautica: Below Zero seems very similar to the Sandworms from Dune. Will we be able to ride an Ice Worm? It seems doubtful, as of now the Ice Worm pops out of the land and attacks near the thumper.
Another influence seems to be related to the Bobbit Worm. These creepy things were recently featured in Blue Planet II, a documentary about the oceans.
How-to Spawn the Ice Worm
First, you will need to unlock your console. Hit F3 and you will see a window with “Disable Console” checked. Hit tab to give yourself a mouse cursor, and uncheck this button. Use either the Enter key or the
key to open up the console and type in commands.
To spawn the Ice Worm, you’ll first want to be on some land. A good area for this is in a place that was made to test the SnowFox or Hover Bike. Open up the console and type in “goto hoverarea”. This will move you automatically to this area, and you will see some ramps and a bunch of land.
Next, you will need to spawn the Ice Worm. Open the console again and type in “spawn 2568”. The worm is now underground, but it won’t come out of hiding just yet. To get it to jump around and be active, you’ll need to open up the console just one more time and type in “spawn thumper”. Grab the item and place it on the ground. The thumping will begin and your new Ice Worm friend will start jumping out of the ground and attack the noise.
You will take damage if the Ice Worm lands close to you, so be careful not to die. You can use the command “nodamage” in the console to make it so you can’t get killed.

Greetings Gamer’s, So today’s discussion is a little different, I am asking a REAL question. I need some Subnautica Below Zero Favro experts. I need to know how accurate the Content Complete Board is. Do not go to the Favro unless you wanna be spoiled. On the Content Complete board the Section titled: Sprint 6 To Do, The date says September 6-20, This worries me because The Ice Worm Update is supposed to be released at the end of this month. If I can get some information on this, That would be great, Thanks for your time
Content complete won’t tell you when the next EA is released.
Also, no new stable update this month. They’re aiming september right now.
This link explains the changes they made to Favro awhile ago, the cards you see in EA #6 are the things they plan on releasing in the next update, the cards in Content Complete are the things they hope to have completed by October 31, 2019, these cards will likely be added to the most time wise relevant EA release as they are finished.
I have been watching the “Base power items – Balance in world/unlock” card almost daily and I am very disappointed in MS and “that guy” but I do understand they are working on other cards atm.

There are key bugs and lack of artic spire area that had to delay the next update. The scanner room is broken. Along with the lights in all base parts. Collision alignment issues on multi purpose rooms. As well as an entire rewrite of dialog. All voice lines have been removed. They need time to re-record and implement them back into the game. There’s also a double tap bug. Where you can break outcrops faster.
On the good side. The lilypad area has been expanded on. You can build on them. Bugs in spawn locations have been fixed with the whales. More unlock items will be in the next patch. As well as improved enviromental detail. Intents storms no longer flood surface bases. Fog respects walls. Muffling of exterior sounds while in base is now working.
Improvements given to the avalanche. They reduced the starting bases rooms. So you dont have to collect those pda’s everywhere. They might be reworking those rooms. So they use items that are obtainable in game. VS the custom items that can’t be. The Neptune Rocket is being used in the story. But is only in a placeholder state. More things are scanable. The Vent Gardens got a animation overhaul. They also developed a new shader. So we can see an alien through ice, with refraction.

Погрузитесь в ледяное подводное приключение. Сабнатика Ниже нуля находится в арктическом регионе планеты 4546B. Как ученый, размещенный на исследовательской станции на поверхности планеты, вам поручено изучать инопланетные артефакты. Космическая станция Веспер вращается высоко над вами, отправляя припасы, инструкции и получая образцы, которые вы запускаете с поверхности. Когда бедствие поражает Исследовательскую станцию, вы должны импровизировать, чтобы выжить: создавать места обитания, собирать ресурсы, искать subnautica чертежи, охотиться за едой и изготавливать оборудование, вобщем делать все, чем Вам нравилось заниматься в оригинальной игре.
